Bio - Nick Hollamby

After completing a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, Nick furthered his studies in a Graduate Diploma of Music Studies where he focused on Pedagogy and Performance. In 2006 he was one of four Australians to attend the International Voice Care Conference in Banff Canada where he worked closely with a number of internationally renowned voice specialists and teachers including Seth Riggs – Voice Coach to the stars (Michael Jackson, Barbara Streisand, Josh Groban and Paris Hilton to name a few) and Neil Semer (one of Broadways most respected vocal coaches).

This year Nick will again be one of a handful of Australians to attend the International Voice Congress in Paris with leading specialists in voice and vocal performance from around the world. Nick has recently completed his Master of Music Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium Griffith University and performs regularly on the Brisbane jazz circuit. Nick has performed in festivals along side the likes of James Morrison and the Black Sorrows and currently performs with musicians who have shared the stage with artists such as Dizzie Gillespie and Mel Torme. On top of this Nick is a Lecturer in contemporary voice at the Young Conservatorium of Music and has taught at a number of private colleges around Brisbane.

Nick is again this year delighted to be a part of the amazing Starlight team.
