Great little hyperlink I found here, the use of “epi-pipto” all throughout the New Testament.

It means “to alight upon” like a bird with wings – often translated “fall upon” when spoken as a reference to the Holy Spirit’s embrace e.g. in Acts 8:16 – and of course John’s resting against Jesus in John 13:25
